Synopsis:

Review:
I will admit, I've read this series all out of order...but thankfully, that hasn't been a problem. Each book can work well as a standalone, but when read together, you are able to dive in each characters background a little bit more.

Jen Turano offers up another romantic comedy with A Most Peculiar Circumstance. Like with the two previous books that I have read, the humor flows effortlessly, the characters are well developed, there is a hint of mystery to the story as well, and the pace keeps you reading.

In this installment of the series we follow Arabella Beckett, who is a staunch supporter of women's suffrage. She has traveled the country speaking at rally's and trying her best to help women who appear to need it in her eyes. We also follow Theodore Wilder, who believes that the only place for a woman is in the home, taking care of the family. Because these two offered such a polar opposite views, I was concerned to how the book would play out, because both views drive me nuts and I could argue against both. Thankfully, they both mellowed and it wasn't a constant battle of opinions, and in doing so made this such an enjoyable story to sit down with.

I can't wait to read the fourth installment!
