Review:
Hidden Agenda starts a week after Hidden Agenda ends. It's always nice to not have a huge gap between stories. We pick up from the aftermath at the end of the previous book a week later and our characters are still settling back into what will be their new normal. We are also thrown into the world that Michael Hunt has lived in all this time, while his family has thought he was dead, he's been keeping tabs on a cartel.

Lisa Harris has the ability to keep the action coming at you in a story. It's like reading an episode of one of my favorite crime shows. The pages turn themselves as the story keeps ramping up. It is hard to set down as more of the secrets and mysteries are exposed.

Olivia Hamilton is a woman who has been told one thing her whole life, then in the span of a couple of hours, everything she ever knew has evaporated. Her younger brother witnesses a violent crime and the innocence that Olivia has always hoped for him is taken. Then when the idea to run forms, her brother and her conscious nag at her to do the right thing. She helps a man who is set to die in the morning escape, and in the processes, get her, her brother, and the this mystery man hunted down by people she originally thought were there to protect her.

As Olivia and her brother flee with Michael, Olivia is faced with new information that is a punch to the gut. Everyone she has loved has lied to her, but she has no time to morn this information as they run. It is in this escape that allows Michael to reunite with his family for help.

I enjoyed this story. It was fast and kept me wondering what would happen next. This was a fitting end to the series.
